Amir Shakibamanesh

 

is an Urban Designer with more than 12 years of professional and international experience. He currently works as an assistant professor of urban design and also dean of Farabi International Campus at the University of Art, Tehran, Iran. He received his PhD (Urban Design) from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2013. He is the author and co-author of over 25 scholarly articles and monographs, and author or editor of 7 books, including 'City Center; From Theory to Urban Design Guidelines' (2014), 'Urban Design with Passive Defense Consideration' (2011); 'Urban Districts in Iran' (2006); 'Fundamental and Principles in Urban Climatology' (2006) and 'Principles of Color Design in Architecture and Urban Design' (2005). His research interests have been focused on Urban Visualization, Modeling and simulation.
