Irene Mazzotta



is a Research Assistant in the Department of Informatics, University of Bari. She obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Bari in May 2009, defending a dissertation titled “PORTIA: A User-Adapted Persuasion System based on ‘a-rational’ approach”, supervised by Prof. Fiorella de Rosis. Her work was financed, in part, by HUMAINE, the European Human-Machine Interaction Network on Emotion (EC Contract 507422). Her interests are in the area of intelligent interfaces, dialogue simulation and user-adapted persuasion.is a Research Assistant in the Department of Informatics, University of Bari.
