Benjamin V. Hanrahan

 

received his Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction from Virginia Tech in 2014.  His dissertation focused on the personal information practices of users of email, particularly how users wound up getting lost in email and spending more time than they intended.  From 2012-2015 Benjamin was a Research Scientist in the Work Practice Technologies group at Xerox Research Centre Europe (XRCE). At XRCE Benjamin lead several projects related to better supporting the work practices of various groups of workers.
