Elke Mattheiss

 

is scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, received a diploma degree in Psychology from the University of Graz, Austria and focused as postgraduate researcher on motivational aspects in adaptive educational games. Besides her education in Psychology, she holds a bachelor degree in software engineering. Her current research focus as well as the topic of her PhD studies at the University of Salzburg is on persuasive and educational digital games and gamification, especially on factors influencing the effectiveness of persuasive interventions.
